You have several options ...Congratulations again!!

You have several options on carpet:

1. With Home Depot, the price is the price. Period. It takes them longer to get everything done as well. They use outside contractors and it can take a lot longer than they tell you. I have not had good luck with the outside contractors getting work finished in a timely manner.

2. Empire will come out and install very quickly. They will pull up the old carpet and take it away with them. However, know that they will not clean the floor very well before they put down the new stuff. (Actually, none of the installers will)

Empire will come right out to your home and show you the most expensive first. Keep saying 'we weren't planning on spending that much at this time.' What you are waiting for are the high quality remnants! Usually, they have an end or large remnant that you can get at a very reasonable price.

Do NOT be afraid to say you need to discuss before making a decision. Don't let anyone pressure into a quick decision.

3. Since you already have hardwood floors under the existing carpet, you could remove, clean and put down a very large area rug. With Aaron's allergies this may be a very good option. Sometimes, you can get a carpet place to finish the edges of a carpet remnant and use it like an area rug. My mom has done that and it looks great.

Looking forward to coming out and helping!!momsherryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06465432793803447349noreply@blogger.com
